Hidden quest progress is so slow

This game feels really slow-paced, and I'm earning very little money. I want to finish the hidden quest quickly, I just want to be done with it! Mainly because I don't find it that fun qq It's not another one of those 'watch ads' types, is it? If it is, I'll accept it.
