Midnight Diner ~ Steakhouse (Edit)

Volume 3 (Middle Chapter: Schoolgirl) Recap: It shouldn't be too bad! I turned to serve the customers who came in later. As I was scrambling, I caught a familiar figure in my peripheral vision... She called out: Welcome! Following the sound, I turned around! Huh! This... isn't this the same person from earlier... Turns out the schoolgirl was also an employee here. The boss gave her some instructions! After a moment... she walked towards me! Schoolgirl: Hello! My name is Xiao Rui, introduce yourself! Me: Xiao Zhi Xiao Rui: The boss told me to give you a tour of the work environment! Everything outside the kitchen is considered front-of-house work! The first thing to do when you start is to sweep the outside clean, wipe the tables, the salad bar, the tea dispenser, the bread rolls, take the pastry out of the fridge and prepare it... Xiao Rui: The moment I came in, I saw the outside was super dirty. Xiao Rui pointed at my nose: Why didn't you sweep the floor! Me: I just started, and the boss told me to wipe the tables and refill the sauces, he never said anything about sweeping outside... Besides, I finished all the other pre-opening tasks! It's already this time! Xiao Rui listened to my explanation, and gave me a look of disbelief! As if she thought I was slacking off... and she caught me red-handed! Xiao Rui: Wiping tables, refilling sauces, does that really take so long! Seeing her say this... although I felt bad inside! I didn't explain further. Judging by her attitude, it seemed like she had already made up her mind, and further explanation would be futile! Xiao Rui didn't dwell on this matter further... But the look in her eyes! To be continued...
