Perhaps the only spot for the purple area is being restricted by the rules of other rows. Why not check the diagonals first? Sometimes, the rule that cats cannot be diagonally adjacent is the easiest one to overlook.

Just cleared it, is this a bug? 😐 The purple squares with white Xs are cats, so does marking the wrong spot not deduct a chance? 🤔
