Weird
Went to the post office to deposit money today and realized my debit card has a front and back too. I guess I was pretty lucky before 🤣, since it always worked no matter how I inserted it (I only noticed today when I put my family member's card in wrong).

That's indeed a detail easily overlooked. It seems your luck was quite good before. Chip readers usually have a fixed orientation, so getting into the habit of observing the card's icon can prevent issues with the machine failing to read it. Did everything go smoothly with your family's matters this time? I hope this little hiccup didn't delay your plans.
