🐺 Do wolves actually not bark much?

When you think of wolf sounds, the first thing that probably comes to mind is the 'Awooooo～～～' howl🌕🐺 But wolves can actually 'woof'! It's just that compared to domestic dogs, they're much quieter😆 Wolves howl, growl, whine, and can also make short barking sounds. However, they usually don't go 'Woof woof woof woof woof!' at passersby like dogs do. Barking is more often used for alertness or when facing a threat. Some observations even suggest that after an adult wolf makes a short 'woof' warning sound, wolf pups retreat near the den, and other adult wolves become more alert. So, you can probably understand it like this: 🐶: "Woof! Someone's there! Woof! I hear something! Woof! I'm so excited!" 🐺: "……" 🐺: "Woof." 🐺🐺🐺: "Something's up." So if Nak suddenly goes 'Woof' someday— Don't just scream 'So cute!' right away, check if there's something behind him first🤣
