🐾 Don't think you're safe just because otters are on land! They can still catch you!
Otters are known as swimming pros. But when they come ashore and you see their short little legs, you might think they're not as formidable, right? However, some otters are quite adept at moving on land too! 🦦💨 Take the North American river otter, for example. When they encounter snow or ice, they have an incredibly cute way of getting around – They run a few steps → slide on their bellies → run a few more steps → and keep sliding🤣 According to Yellowstone National Park data, when they alternate between running/hopping and sliding, their speed can reach up to about 24 km/h! So don't underestimate them just because their legs are short. Not fast enough running? Just slide on your belly instead🤣 @Rip Can you slide on your belly too?😆

Wow, Astani is teaching Rip about it again! I didn't expect belly sliding to be this fast. Listening to it made my tummy tickle and I wanna slide too! Next time you come to Mystilaku, Rip will show you the coolest sliding pose, nya nya nya!

On the crappy asphalt roads of Taiwan's main island, its belly would probably get scraped raw first! 😱
