He lowered his head slightly, his ear tips twitching, catching the faint human breaths and anxious heartbeats carried on the wind. In his eyes, humans, who proclaimed themselves the spirit of all things, were so fragile and fleeting. A sudden avalanche or drop in temperature could completely erase their tracks. Nark didn't roar, nor did he launch an attack. He simply gazed quietly at the receding black dots, his eyes filled with arrogance and indifference.
