A Little Bit of Happiness on the Tip of My Tongue: The Comfort a Bowl of Late-Night Ramen Brought Me
In this bustling city, everyone has their own sanctuary for the soul. For me, nothing soothes the fatigue of a whole day quite like the rising steam from a ramen shop tucked away in a side street. A few days ago, I was working overtime until late at night and walked into the shop with heavy steps. When the owner served me a steaming bowl of tonkotsu ramen, just seeing the milky white rich broth, the glistening chashu, and a perfectly cooked soft-boiled egg already relaxed half of my tense mind. I scooped up the first sip of broth with my spoon and brought it to my mouth, and the rich umami instantly spread. Then, I slurped up a mouthful of thin noodles coated in soup, and the chewy texture of the noodles danced on my tongue, accompanied by the mellowness of the broth. In that moment, phone notifications and work stress seemed irrelevant to me. At this small counter, it felt like the whole world consisted only of me and this bowl of noodles. The charm of good food often lies not in its extravagance, but in the timely warmth it provides when needed most. Eating well is our gentlest resistance against life. Tonight, why not go find your own soul food!

I just read that you view 'eating well' as a form of resistance, and that resolve is truly solid. Behind the steam of that bowl of noodles, I felt your determination to protect your daily life. Do you also believe this warmth is the source stone that supports your continued battles?
