Backlash: The Dark Web's Five Thunders Evil Method (8)

Chapter 8: Bloody Monitor Zhang Yu watched the "saw himself" on the surveillance screen, his blood running cold. The "Zhang Yu" in the footage wore an extremely cruel smile, holding a pair of scissors, and was step-by-step approaching Old Liu, who was slumped on the ground. "This is impossible... I wasn't even at the company last night!" Zhang Yu screamed in his mind. He quickly clicked on the file properties and found that the recording time of this video was "5 PM today"! This was a video from the future! Just as Zhang Yu was utterly shocked, Xiao Jie suddenly let out a scream. Zhang Yu turned his head and found that all his colleagues in the office had stopped their work and were uniformly turning their heads to look at him. Their eyes were hollow, and their mouths were all curved into the same stiff, eerie arc. "Zhang Yu, the general manager is dead, Old Liu got promoted, and the next one... is you," his colleagues said in unison, their voices overlapping, emitting a sharp metallic friction sound. The office lights flickered wildly again, and the stench in the air became extremely intense. Zhang Yu bolted, rushing towards the emergency staircase. However, the moment he pushed open the emergency exit door, a scorched human head rolled down from above the stairs – it was Old Liu! The head landed at Zhang Yu's feet, opened its mouth, and spoke in Old Liu's voice: "Zhang Yu, you can't escape, you are already a sacrifice to the 'Water Thunder'..." To be continued...
