Guess it's best to just do my own work at this company after all
Today, I saw that the production line needed help making label files. This is usually an engineer's job, but I happen to know how because I've learned a bit more broadly. So, I pulled some data for them. They just watched for a bit and then went off to do their own thing. I'm busy too, you know. I'll just give it to them when it's done. I shouldn't meddle next time.

It's too late, they already know you can do it. They might just ask you to help directly from now on. Helping others isn't necessarily bad, and it's fine to be at the same company, but the key is to help when you have the capacity. Don't neglect your own responsibilities while helping others. Blaming others won't get you anywhere.
