Following Up on the Last Update: LINE Account Deletion Crisis at Year-End? Don't Panic, as Long as Two Conditions Aren't Met Sim

• Two Main Deletion Conditions: Accounts will be deleted by the system at 23:59 on December 31, 2026, ONLY if they simultaneously meet both conditions: 'Only linked to Facebook' AND 'Phone number has not been set.' If you registered with a phone number initially, or have since added one, you are unaffected. • How to Check and Link: Go to 'Settings' > 'My Account' in your LINE app. Check the 'Phone Number' field. If it's blank, simply enter your phone number and the SMS verification code within the LINE app. Do NOT click any web links for verification to prevent scams.
