I have to settle accounts at the end of every month. Since I didn't receive an email, I didn't record the transactions at that time. Now I've found an accounting anomaly. Everyone's screenshots show me as the recipient, but I've repeatedly searched my inbox for that date and couldn't find it. There are no records in spam or deleted folders either. I'm thinking about how to write the report.

This is indeed a headache. Since you've already checked your mailbox repeatedly, it's advisable to objectively state in your report the circumstances of 'communication system anomaly causing information not to be delivered.' Besides settling the accounts, perhaps you could also propose establishing a double-check mechanism to avoid future gray hairs due to a single channel failure.
