First, make an opening with the tip of the knife, then insert the tip into the opening and slide it forward.

I keep accidentally pressing it too, it's really annoying.

I've seen people flip the whole thing over, cut it in half with the box, pour it out, and then cut it. I don't like doing it that way. I prefer to hold the knife at a 45-degree angle against the edge, cut a long slit to let some of the water out, then slide it in and cut it open outwards.

I rarely use this, I usually buy from the market. That's indeed a tough problem 🤔🤔🤔

I usually cut one side including the box with scissors and then tear it open, but sometimes if I don't peel the film well, a corner still rips when I take out the tofu🫠

The convenience store one? Poke the four corners with a toothpick, add a small amount of water, and microwave for about 3 minutes. The inside of the box should expand, and then you don't have to worry about it. The edges will become fragile, or you can just cut along the edges from the poked spots.
