Description: SCP-4999 is an anomalous humanoid entity, typically appearing as a middle-aged male, with variations in appearance each time it manifests, its only consistent feature being the wearing of a dark suit. Due to the rarity of SCP-4999's sightings and the difficult conditions for its manifestation, records regarding its purpose and behavior are extremely limited. However, in all records, SCP-4999 exhibits consistent behavior. SCP-4999 appears beside only one isolated human individual at a time. All records indicate that the subject is in a state of terminal illness, severe physical trauma, or near death. At this time, SCP-4999 will appear near the subject and accompany them until the individual's death, a process that typically does not exceed 20 minutes. Source: https://scpwiki.com/scp-4999
