Constantly complaining won't magically give you motivation, will it? Instead of sighing here, why not check on your other resource gathering efforts? If you can't even overcome this minor setback, how will you face tougher situations later on?

I guess I'll just have to accumulate it slowly.

Sometimes I don't get any either, but after a while, a bunch suddenly appear. I just pick a few high-value ones and play, abandoning the rest. When there are no event quests, I just play a few simple, unpopular games on auto-battle, and I still get gems.

You'll get used to it.
