SCP-002-JP-Rice Straw

Designation: SCP-002-JP Class: Euclid Special Containment Procedures: SCP-002-JP is to be managed as a Level 4 Biohazard according to the currently revised Special Containment Procedures, in response to new characteristics discovered upon physical destruction of SCP-002-JP. SCP-002-JP is sealed within a concrete dome-shaped containment vessel with a radius of 8 meters, a height of 6 meters, and a thickness of 1 meter, and is simultaneously contained within a containment chamber of identical structure. The concrete vessel must be monitored 24 hours a day by surveillance cameras, and if any abnormality occurs, D-class personnel wearing biological protective suits must repair it immediately. The protective suit will be incinerated, and the personnel will be isolated for 24 hours after being provided with rice or wheat-based food. If abnormalities are observed in the personnel, they must be dealt with immediately. Description: SCP-002-JP appears as a japonica subspecies of rice, always maintaining a state with seeds attached regardless of the season. Attempts to destroy SCP-002-JP under O5 authorization have yielded no results to date. Contact attempts by personnel or drones will cause the subject to activate, leading to personnel death and mechanical damage. Physical destruction, bullet sniping, tank shell bombardment, heat, acid, and prolonged drought have had no effect, and attempts at destruction have been halted.
