Item #: SCP-006 Object Class: Safe Special Containment Procedures: Given SCP-006's nature, no necessary or complex containment procedures are required. However, all personnel who read the documentation for this item must maintain secrecy regarding its existence and nature. The following procedures are not for the safety of personnel, but to deny and completely conceal the effects SCP-006 has on those who come into contact with it. Description: SCP-006 is a very small spring located 60 km west of Astrakhan. The Foundation has been aware of the item's existence since the 19th century, but due to political reasons, containment measures were not implemented until 1991. A chemical plant has been built at the site to conceal the item, and most of the workers are under the control of the Foundation and/or Russian authorities. Since 1902, the liquid emanating from the item has been analyzed as simple mineral water, but possesses anomalous "healing" properties. Source: http://scpwiki.com/scp-006 CC-BY-SA licensed.
