Description: SCP-009 is a substance of approximately ██ liters. It superficially resembles distilled water (H2O), but possesses a distinct red coloration, which it retains in all states. This allows it to serve as an effective method of identifying contaminated substances, even when its anomalous properties are not immediately apparent. Unlike normal water, SCP-009 remains liquid between -100°C and 0°C, solidifies above this temperature, and vaporizes into a steam-like gas when below -100°C.
