After Transmigration, I Became a God by Plundering --- Chapter 8, Neighborhood Terror (2)

You should know that although this is a city, there are quite a few wild beasts hidden in the sewers. After spiritual energy appeared, the mutations worldwide weren't just among humans, but affected birds, beasts, fish, insects, and even plants. Not to mention the sewer rats that ordinary medicine can't kill. It's fine when you're inside a house, as the indoor air is filled with the scent of humans and their companion beasts, deterring weaker wild animals from invading. However, even a weak wild animal is stronger than a child who has just awakened. This incident caused a huge stir and was even made a typical case study by the government, directly publicized across various units. Fortunately, due to the need to fight beasts in this era, there are many disabled individuals, leading to advanced prosthetic technology. It won't significantly impact the little girl's future quality of life, but her psychological trauma is another matter. This time, luckily, someone passed by. If no one had discovered her, she might have just been reported as a missing person. What if the attacker wasn't a rabid rat, but a flying bird? Rescue might not have arrived in time, and she could have been carried off by the bird as takeout.
