SCP-012 - Musical Score
Item #: SCP-012 Object Class: Euclid Special Containment Procedures: SCP-012 is to be contained within a darkened room at all times. Any personnel who observe the object when it is exposed to light, or by any light source other than infrared, are to be immediately transferred and undergo psychological and physiological examination. SCP-012 is contained within a locked metal box, which is suspended from the ceiling, at least 2.5 meters (8 feet) away from the floor, walls, and any entrances or exits. Description: SCP-012 was discovered by archaeologist K.M. Sandoval in a recently storm-destroyed tomb in Northern Italy. The object is a handwritten musical score titled "On the Mount of Golgotha," which appears to be part of a larger musical composition and is unfinished. The red/black ink on the object was initially thought to be some kind of berry or other natural dye, but was later discovered to be human blood of varying origins. The first two personnel to come into contact with the object (from Site-19's Special Containment Team) went insane and attempted to complete the score using their own blood, ultimately resulting in massive blood loss and internal trauma.
