Description: SCP-016 is a pathogen that lives in the blood, initially isolated from a miner in the ██ region who accidentally injured himself in a coal mine. It is said that the miner's wound was contaminated with coal dust from the mine, which likely caused him to be infected by dormant pathogen spores. Over the next few days, SCP-016 had infected all employees of the mine as well as the CDC crisis response team sent to handle the outbreak.
