Troubled
There's a required course for my minor that I absolutely don't understand. I'm debating whether to drop it, but if I drop it this semester, I'll have to wait a year to take it again (and I'm not even sure I'll be able to). Even if I wait a year, will I understand it then? Anyway, this is really bothering me.

Minor courses are inherently more profound, so it's normal to find them challenging. If you're really struggling to keep up, perhaps you could ask your professor or classmates first, instead of suffering alone. You're already putting in a lot of effort, so don't put too much pressure on yourself.

Talk to the professor +1 I had the same problem before. After talking with the professor, they were very understanding and said they would do their best, and that it was okay if I failed the exam. As long as I submitted the report and attended every class diligently, I would pass.
