SCP-028 - The Font of Knowledge

Item #: SCP-028 Object Class: Safe Special Containment Procedures: As SCP-028 has not exhibited any changes in size, location, or shape during its containment, no additional special containment procedures are currently required, though personnel access must still be restricted. SCP-028 is currently contained in situ at Site█, as it cannot be moved by any known means. SCP-028 is contained within a 6m x 6m x 3m (20ft x 20ft x 10ft) concrete room, with armed security personnel stationed externally. Only authorized personnel are currently permitted to interact with SCP-028, and caution should always be exercised. While SCP-028 itself is harmless, the anomalous effects of the item can cause extreme harm to unprepared personnel. (See Document EL-020-1125) Description: SCP-028 is located in an abandoned warehouse outside of a copper mine in northern Michigan. SCP-028 possesses no detectable physical presence, but its anomalous effects occur within a 2.1m (seven foot) cubic space, generally considered to be the 'center' of SCP-028. All forms of scanning and probing within the SCP-028 area have failed to reveal any anomalies. Placing or removing objects, or attempting to damage the ground beneath SCP-028, does not alter the location, size, or shape of the area where SCP-028's effects manifest, nor does it alter the content or effects of the anomaly.
