SCP-002 - 'Living' Room

Item #: SCP-002 Object Class: Euclid Special Containment Procedures: SCP-002 must be connected to a suitable power source at all times to maintain the item in a seemingly charging state. If power supply is interrupted, emergency gates between the item and the containment facility will be closed and personnel within the facility will be immediately evacuated. When power supply is restored within the facility, the interior must be alternately strobed with X-rays and ultraviolet light until SCP-002 is reconnected to the power source and returns to a seemingly charging state. The containment facility must be kept under negative pressure at all times. Description: SCP-002 is a tumor-like fleshy growth approximately 60 cubic meters (or 2000 cubic feet) in volume. One side has an iron valve hatch leading to the interior of the item, which is a standard-sized, moderately priced rental apartment. One wall inside the item has a single window, but no corresponding opening can be observed from the outside. The remaining furniture inside appears to be composed of carved bone, woven hair, and various other substances produced by the human body.
