SCP-031 - What is Love?

Item #: SCP-031 Object Class: Euclid Special Containment Procedures: SCP-031 is currently contained within the Ryugyong Hotel in Pyongyang, North Korea. Given the nation is currently ruled by a totalitarian regime that maintains near-complete control over the government and state media, the possibility of information regarding SCP-031 being released to the wider world is negligible. The aforementioned regime has also established a cooperative relationship with the Foundation to maintain physical security on-site. Foundation personnel are instructed to comply with the latter's orders, provided they do not interfere with the Foundation's grander objectives. Description: SCP-031 is an amorphous organism with a mass exceeding 7,500kg, which has infiltrated the building's plumbing and foundational maintenance structures. SCP-031's core mass has sprouted multiple tendrils and has spread through the hotel's water pipes and ventilation shafts to a total of 105 floors within the structure. At its peak, over 75% of the hotel's 3,000 rooms were contaminated by SCP-031. Recovery operations have eliminated ██% of the initial infection, but over ██ rooms remain affected by SCP-031.
