A Reminder (or Just Checking In) After Wisdom Tooth Extraction
A few days ago, I went to the ER, re-clenched the gauze, confirmed my blood clotting was normal, and then went home. Basically, after getting my wisdom tooth extracted at the clinic, I didn't bite down on the gauze properly and ended up bleeding for several hours. The blood clot got too big and affected my ability to chew and talk. The hospital had to put in a larger gauze pack to stop the bleeding. Afterwards, I found articles saying you don't need to bite down super hard. It really hurt 🥹 https://smile-tw.com/blog/%e6%8b%94%e7%89%99%e5%be%8c%e8%a6%81%e4%b8%8d%e8%a6%81%e7%94%a8%e5%8a%9b%e5%92%ac%e7%b4%97%e5%b8%83%ef%bc%9f%e7%89%99%e9%86%ab%e5%b8%ab%e5%ae%8c%e6%95%b4%e8%a7%a3%e6%9e%90/

Should be enough to just bite down, right? Too much force will just make it bleed continuously.

Rest well 🥹 I also had a difficult wisdom tooth extraction due to cavities before, and my tooth even fractured (it took almost two hours to leave the clinic).
