SCP-044 - WWII Nuclear Fission Cannon

Designation: SCP-044 Object Class: Safe Special Containment Procedures: Due to SCP-044's muzzle constantly generating a steady stream of hydrogen ions, unbonded oxygen atoms, and other trace free radicals, the area in which SCP-044 is stored must be kept well-ventilated to prevent the buildup of dangerous gases and moisture. A muzzle cover must be kept on at all times to prevent birds and small animals from attempting to crawl into SCP-044's muzzle. Addendum, 200█/██/██: Due to no major safety incidents occurring with SCP-044 in Foundation containment for ██ years, SCP-044 has been reclassified as a 'Safe' class item. Description: SCP-044 is an anomalous howitzer cannon, secretly manufactured in the late stages of World War II by Krupp AG engineers, and personally overseen by Albert Speer under the leadership of German Armaments and War Production Minister Adolf Hitler. SCP-044's anomaly lies not only in its unusual dimensions (251 metric tons) but also in its ability to fire unconventional projectiles through atypical means. The rear section of the cannon barrel lacks a chamber for loading projectiles, instead being constructed as a massive air compression chamber. Any object, or multiple objects, capable of fitting can be loaded into SCP-044's muzzle as ammunition. Due to its size, SCP-044 must be mounted on a rail system and moved using two freight trains.
