SCP-049 - The Plague Doctor

Designation: SCP-049 Class: Euclid Special Containment Procedures: SCP-049 is to be contained within a standard humanoid containment cell in the Site-19 Second Research Wing. Attempts to transport SCP-049 must be preceded by sedation via tranquilizers. During transport, SCP-049 must be secured in a Class III humanoid containment suit (including a collar lock and limb restraints) and monitored by no fewer than two armed security personnel. Containment Procedures Temporary Update: (See Addendum 049.3) Per Containment Council Order 049.S19.17.1, SCP-049 is no longer permitted any direct interaction with Foundation personnel, nor will it be provided with corpses for use in its surgical procedures. This order will remain in effect indefinitely until an agreement regarding containment is reached between the Foundation and SCP-049. Description: SCP-049 is a humanoid entity approximately 1.9 meters in height, resembling a medieval plague doctor. While SCP-049 appears to adopt the attire of this profession by wearing a thick, heavy robe and a ceramic mask, these garments seem to grow out of SCP-0491 and are difficult to separate from the body structure beneath. Nevertheless, X-rays indicate that a humanoid skeletal structure does indeed exist beneath the entity's outer layers. Source: http://scpwiki.com/scp-049 CC-BY-SA licensed.
