The kind of person you are determines the kind of friends you attract.

Not all friends are worth keeping around forever. True comfort in a relationship comes when it makes you like yourself more. When we were young, we were always afraid of not having friends. So, even if a relationship exhausted or hurt us, we often chose to endure it. But after going through some life experiences, we realize that we don't need many friends. What matters is that our hearts are at peace when we're together. When you start to make your inner self soft yet firm, stop being jealous, stop comparing, stop wasting time complaining about others, and stop doubting yourself because of others' opinions. You'll gradually notice that the people around you also start to change. You might attract someone who is genuinely happy for your successes; someone who talks with you when you're feeling down; and someone who, when you want to move forward, doesn't pour cold water on you but instead encourages you. In reality, it's often not that we 'can't find good friends,' but that when we first become warm and strong individuals, we naturally attract people on a similar frequency. So, for the rest of our lives, we don't need to force ourselves to fit into every circle. Take good care of yourself, organize your mind, stay away from draining relationships, and move closer to warmth. You'll discover that true friends, though not necessarily in daily contact, make you feel, 'It's so good to have you here.' May we reach the second half of our lives with only those by our side who can support, grow with, and bless each other.
