"Oz." served as the ending theme for the first season of the anime "Ranking of Kings" (王様ランキング) and became widely known along with the anime's popularity. The title "Oz" contains a Japanese pun on the word for "prince" (おうじ, ouji). 👑🪬 However, if you're familiar with the anime's plot, you'll notice it depicts the emotional transformation between the prince and his companion Kage (カゲ), adding a deeper narrative layer as the story progresses. I'm recommending the "With ensemble" version, which is similar to channels like THE FIRST TAKE, but with the addition of classical instruments. It features the singer's pure vocals accompanied by an orchestral arrangement. This version allows for a pure appreciation of the singer's voice and perfectly suits the song's warm and embracing tone.
