Crab Roe and Tofu Casserole (Easy Rice Cooker Version)

This dish boasts a tempting golden color and a silky smooth texture. Although it looks like a fancy restaurant dish, it's actually very simple to make using a rice cooker. Ingredients: 1 box silken tofu (cut into thick slices) 2 salted egg yolks (steamed or baked beforehand, then mashed with a spoon) 50g shrimp or imitation crab meat (finely diced) A little minced garlic and chopped scallions Seasonings: 1/2 cup stock or water, 1 tsp rice wine, cornstarch slurry (for thickening), a pinch of salt and white pepper. Simple Steps: In a bowl, mix the mashed salted egg yolk, minced garlic, diced shrimp, stock, and seasonings. Arrange the cut silken tofu at the bottom of a deep dish. Evenly pour the mixed salted egg yolk sauce over the tofu. Add 0.8 cups of water to the outer pot of the rice cooker and press the button. Once it's done, gently mix, sprinkle with chopped scallions, and serve. It's incredibly delicious with rice.
