SCP-052 - The Time-Traveling Train

Item #: SCP-052 Object Class: Euclid Special Containment Procedures: While SCP-052 cannot be removed from the New York City subway system, its regular and predictable pattern allows the Foundation to prevent its exposure to the public. Platforms A/B/C/D at the 59th Street station will be closed to the public on Saturday/Sunday nights between 11 PM and 1 AM under the guise of "track maintenance." During this time, MTF Gamma-6 agents will be dispatched to the station to assist in containing the object. Agents have been ordered to prevent accidental public entry into the station and to apprehend any individuals exiting SCP-052. Description: SCP-052 is an anomalous R4 type New York City subway car. Official records state the train was built in 1932 and decommissioned for scrap in 1975. Despite this, the object appears on the A/D tracks between the 59th Street and 8th Avenue stations at precisely 11:59:57 PM every Saturday night. The object manifests in pristine condition every Saturday night, designated as a "Class A" train. SCP-052 will appear during the aforementioned times, open its doors to accept/release passengers, remain for approximately five minutes, then close its doors and vanish.
