By the way, about your reply ('...' + 'Do you have it?') I didn't feel 'you're comfortable' at all lol Instead, it didn't seem like you were very happy (or am I wrong? I don't know if it's an Asian thing of denial or some other factor but I've noticed that many people (including but not limited to you) when complimented, their first instinct is 'No, no' or 'Do I have it?' / 'You're better' Sometimes a simple 'Thank you' can express it and it also makes the other person feel better. Of course, I don't know your friend You know your friend better than I do. These are just my personal thoughts, so take them with a grain of salt. Your reply might be perfectly okay with your friend!
