Can't keep up with how fast my child is growing
Recently, I was thinking back to when my child was first born and I held them in my arms. Now, my child has started saying 'no'. Before, they used to complain about being heavy and not want to be held. Now, when I want to hold them, I get rejected with a 'no'. Suddenly, I feel so hurt, but I also feel like I can't keep up with how fast my child is growing. From not being able to roll over, crawl, or walk, To now being able to run, walk, and be mischievous. Childhood growth only happens once. I need to cherish their companionship and their naughty antics.
