The Taiwan stock market (TWSE) once again hit a historic closing high today (2nd)! The TAIEX showed a volatile upward trend throughout the day, closing up 122.25 points at 48,475.74, a 0.25% increase. This successfully marks three consecutive weeks of gains on the weekly chart, demonstrating strong momentum. Today's market turnover remained high, reaching NT$933.185 billion. Key Sectors and Blue-Chip Performance Today, market funds showed a healthy rotation from large-cap blue-chip stocks to small and mid-cap stocks: • Blue-Chip Stocks Consolidate: • TSMC (2330): Experienced fluctuations during trading hours and closed down 0.40% at NT$2500. • Hon Hai, Delta Electronics, MediaTek, and Quanta, among other electronic blue-chip stocks, also saw declines today, showing relatively weaker performance. • Leading Sectors: • Passive Components: Continuing yesterday's strong bullish trend, multiple stocks like TAI-I, CHEN-RU, YU-CHAI, YAGEO, CHIN-KAI, and TIAN-ER TECHNOLOGY hit the upper limit.
