SCP-080-The Dark Form

Item #: SCP-080 Object Class: Euclid Special Containment Procedures: The item is to be contained within a 4m x 4m room, with a small antechamber on the south wall allowing researcher access. A observation room is connected on the north wall via a window overlooking the main containment chamber, which is equipped with a heavy blackout curtain that is only lowered when the door leading to the containment chamber is closed. Attempts to move SCP-080 outside of this enclosed space are to be strictly forbidden at all times. No more than one (1) 7-watt incandescent light bulb is to be illuminated at any given moment. All devices capable of producing light are absolutely prohibited from being brought into the containment chamber. Description: Due to the failure of all attempts at physical interaction with the item and the negative consequences produced (see Experiment Log 080-1), it is currently unclear whether SCP-080 possesses physical mass or a 'form'. Researchers and Foundation personnel have described SCP-080 as various shadows or human likenesses, with the common characteristic of a pair of smoking 'eyes'. Researchers have noted that SCP-080 induces an uncontrollable drowsiness in anyone who enters the containment chamber. After approximately 30 minutes, individuals observing the item will be forcibly induced into REM sleep and suffer irreversible mental damage. Source: http://scpwiki.com/scp-080 CC-BY-SA licensed
