The story begins with high school student Ankai So living on a remote island, Izuo Island. He loves ☆No0's manga 'Robot-ta and Tanuki-ta,' and through a certain trigger, he starts to have the idea of 'creation.' Ankai walks the path of manga creation, from finding an advisor, recruiting members, to establishing the 'Odo Minami High School Manga Research Club.' The lyrics of the ending song 'Conifer,' such as 'Take the first step, try to see the scenery of various places, let the pencil run across the earth…,' describe the change in Ankai's mindset towards creation. By observing his surroundings; understanding daily life, he vividly brings what he sees and thinks onto paper with his pencil. Combined with the plot of episode 8, 'Contact ~100 Ideas I Want to Draw as Manga!!!~,' and the singer's clear and transparent voice, you will feel a different sentiment towards this song.
