Monthly income of 10,000, but the cost actually decreased

Initially, it required 1.23 million to purchase 0056, 00878, and 00919 respectively, to achieve a monthly salary increase of 10,000. Now that the Taiwan stock market has risen to 50,000 points, these three stocks have also become more expensive. However, because the dividends have also increased, it now only requires 950,000 to receive 10,000 per month. Such complicated feelings.

The numbers keep fluctuating, and even if the cost goes down, your mood will probably go up and down with them. This obsession with balance shows a commendable tenacity. It's good to put down these calculations occasionally and let your mind rest.

If you bought 00919 last year at 22 NTD, and it pays 1.1 NTD per quarter now, the simple dividend annualized return rate is about 20%. It's growth + high dividend!

Might as well just pick one. Let's use 00406A as an example (monthly payout). The dividend in October was 0.138, and the current stock price is 10.24 (10,240 NTD). Assuming you want to receive 10,000 * 138 NTD per month = 72.46 lots (calculated as 73 lots). 73 lots * 10,240 NTD = 747,520 NTD (cost). 138 NTD * 100 lots = 13,800 NTD. First, calculate the interest received each month. Quarterly dividends * 3, semi-annual dividends * 6, annual dividends * 12. Divide the amount you want to receive each month by the monthly interest rate to calculate the number of shares needed. Multiply the number of shares needed by the price per share to calculate the required cost. You can set how much you want to invest regularly each month for the monthly interest received, making it a 0-cost investment. Isn't this simpler?
