Lulu's Surprise

Deep in the night, Lulu the marshmallow, round and topped with a cute little star, lay on the comforter. He was happily looking at his phone, exclaiming, "Surprise!" However, as he scrolled through the screen, his mood instantly plummeted. Pouting with teary eyes, he mumbled aggrievedly, "My share today is so small, I can't afford any gems..." That immense sense of loss instantly took physical form. Lulu's marshmallow body began to slide and flatten, accompanied by a sad little crying face. He sadly muttered, "Melting slowly..." As time passed, Lulu completely collapsed onto the bed, spreading out flat like a gentle cloud. Though his body had melted into a flat pancake, the corners of his mouth turned up slightly, with a helpless yet resigned smile. He continued to emit little bubbles of happiness or resignation, enjoying this sweet 'melting journey'.
