Lost Credit Card

My parents went on a 2-night, 3-day trip recently. On the first afternoon, my mom messaged me on LINE saying my dad lost his credit card and I needed to call and report it lost quickly. Anyway, both credit cards were temporarily frozen. The bank said if they found them within two days, they could be reactivated. Then, the next morning, my mom messaged again saying they found the credit cards and asked how to restore them. Me: ??? I called to ask what happened, and they said when they walked out of the hotel that morning, they saw both credit cards lying on the ground. ...Huh? Why is this so absurd 🤣🤣🤣 My dad usually stuffs his cards into his flip phone case, making it bulge out and look like they could fall out any second, so the cards falling out wasn't entirely unexpected. But I never imagined both cards would just be lying there outside the hotel, and nobody picked them up overnight 🤣 As for restoring them, some procedures require the cardholder's presence, so I sent my parents the bank's number and instructions, asking them to handle it themselves. Since the two-day limit would expire before they got home, they just had to handle it themselves 💪
