Original Flavor Huang Men Ji Rice

I was recommended this place many times before, and today I finally got the chance to try it out😋👍 The chicken was super tender! The sauce was a perfect balance of salty and sweet, great with rice, and you can even adjust the spiciness~ For some reason though, I chose mild spicy and it tasted like medium spicy to me😵 A bit of a shame was that the portion size was a little small for me🤣 Luckily, the plain rice, soup, and drinks are all free refills (I'm a big eater, so free rice gets a thumbs up haha) The soup was also delicious, and it was great that it had lots of ingredients in it~ Next time I want to try other items on the menu, like the beef or squid, I bet those will be delicious too! On a side note, I always struggle to pronounce the name of this restaurant, I always end up saying something like 'Huang Jue Wei' or 'Wei Jue Huang'🫣
