SCP-087-The Stairwell

Item #: SCP-087 Object Class: Euclid Special Containment Procedures: SCP-087 is located within the campus of [REDACTED] School, and the corridor leading to SCP-087 must be constructed of reinforced steel equipped with an electronic control device. The exit is disguised as a cleaning room door similar to others within the building. The lock on the door handle must remain locked at all times unless a voltage of ██ volts is applied simultaneously and the key is turned counter-clockwise. The inside of the door is filled with 6cm of industrial foam. Following the results of the last exploration (see Document 087-IV), all personnel are currently prohibited from entering SCP-087. Description: SCP-087 is a stairwell without lighting and with a stepped structure. Each floor consists of 13 steps and descends at a 38-degree angle. Between the stair sections is a semicircular platform with a diameter of 3 meters, and the direction of travel rotates 180 degrees with each platform passed. Due to SCP-087's design, the field of vision is limited to 1.5 steps, and there are no lights or windows within the item, so any subject exploring SCP-087 must carry their own light source.
