Item #: SCP-109 Object Class: Euclid (See Addendum 109-1) Special Containment Procedures: SCP-109 is currently contained in Non-Hazardous Object Containment Unit 7 and does not require constant surveillance. Only personnel of Level 3 or higher are permitted to transport the item to research facilities; under no other circumstances is the item to be removed from its containment unit. When SCP-109 is to be re-contained, personnel should ensure the item's cap is securely fastened and that it is stored upright on its molded base. Description: SCP-109 is a standard US military issue canteen made of tin alloy (circa 1899), with its exterior wrapped in thick cotton padding and a black leather strap. When opened, the item can be observed to be nearly full of water. An apparently infinite amount of water can be poured from the item, and afterward, the item's water level and weight remain unchanged (maintained at 3.16 kg). Exploration of the item's interior reveals that the item has a capacity of approximately 2.8 liters and that its internal and external shapes are consistent.
