Chinese Drama ~ Medical Examiner: Dr. Qin

"Medical Examiner: Dr. Qin" is adapted from the novel series of the same name by Qin Ming, specifically the volumes "The Eleventh Finger" and "The Cleaner." Filming began on April 11, 2016[2] in Dalian City, Liaoning Province[1]. Starting October 13, it aired on Sohu TV, with two episodes released every Thursday[3]. The series focuses on forensic autopsies and criminal investigations, featuring "graphic" scenes of various corpses, leading to comments like "a diet aid" and "ruins your appetite." The original author, Qin Ming, responded: "Actually, once you get used to seeing disgusting things, anything edible becomes delicious. That's why I gained weight."[4] As of December 2016, the drama had surpassed 1.2 billion views online, becoming a sensational hit web series of 2016.
