Scam Call
This afternoon, I received a call from someone claiming to be from the bank's customer service (the caller ID also showed a customer service number). They said I had applied for a digital account with Future Bank, that it had been approved, and asked me what the primary purpose of the account was. I told them I hadn't applied for it, and then they proceeded to ask me to confirm my basic information, repeatedly asking if I was the account holder. I told them again that I didn't apply for it and asked them to cancel the application. They said okay and that they had already selected the cancellation on their end. Then, they asked me again, what was the purpose of the account I applied for...??? Hello, buddy, didn't I just tell you I didn't apply for it? Are you nervous because this is your first time making a scam call? I'm about to laugh.
