SCP-117 - The Multitool Swiss Army Knife

Item #: SCP-117 Object Class: Safe Special Containment Procedures: SCP-117 is to be kept in the leather pouch it was discovered in, except when in use for testing or research purposes. Personnel entering the containment unit are to be of sound mental standing. Should personnel be suspected of attempting to remove the item, a search is to be conducted, and if the suspicion proves true, the personnel are to be severely reprimanded. The door to the containment unit is to remain locked, with guards posted only when the item is in use. Description: SCP-117 appears to be a standard Swiss Army knife of unknown brand and manufacturer, discovered in ███████████, Florida. In its dormant state, SCP-117 displays only ordinary tools (screwdriver, small knife, can opener, etc.). However, when a user faces a task, regardless of what tool the user intended to draw, a tool perfectly suited for the task will manifest, even if that tool appears incapable of fitting within SCP-117 itself. Once the task is completed and the tool is retracted, the ordinary tools will reappear, and the specialized tool will not manifest again until faced with the same task.
