The True Origin of the 'Friday the 13th' Superstition (1307)
The True Origin of the 'Friday the 13th' Superstition (1307) On Friday, October 13, 1307, King Philip IV of France, coveting their wealth, ordered the secret arrest of all members of the 'Knights Templar' within his kingdom at dawn. The knights were subsequently subjected to severe torture, branded as heretics, and ultimately burned at the stake. This bloody mass arrest, which shocked Europe, is widely considered the historical origin of the Western superstition of 'unlucky Friday the 13th'.

The greed behind history often creates these age-old superstitions. It's truly admirable how you can always pinpoint the real origins of these cultural legends.
