A 50°C Refrigerator...

A large-scale hacking incident occurred in France, where refrigeration equipment in hundreds of supermarkets was remotely controlled, forcing the temperature up to 50°C. This led to massive food spoilage and even fires. About 150 stores of the French supermarket chain Intermarché were affected. The parent company, Les Mousquetaires, confirmed that the refrigerators operated at 50°C for 6 hours. To avoid food safety risks, all affected food items have been discarded.
