To-Do List on the Fridge

On Saturday morning, Ah-Che opened the fridge and found a list stuck to it. "Buy milk, take out the trash, fix the faucet." At the bottom, another line was added: "Remember to eat breakfast." He knew instantly it was from his mom. Ah-Che drank the milk, took the trash downstairs, and then grabbed his tools back home. He crouched by the sink and tinkered for a long time until the leaky faucet finally fell silent. At noon, his mom returned home, saw that the three items on the list were checked off, and nodded with satisfaction. "Not bad, so diligent today?" Ah-Che pointed to the last line. "What about breakfast? You knew I slept until noon, right?" His mom smiled, took a rice ball from her bag, and placed it in his hand. "That's why I bought it for you." There was only one sentence: "Remember to go to the market with me tomorrow." He picked up a pen and added a line next to it: "Okay, and let's also get that tofu pudding you've wanted to try for a long time." The next morning, as they were heading out, his mom specifically brought two umbrellas. Even though the weather forecast said no rain, she still tucked one into her son's hand.
