My time quests are encountering download issues

I encountered this for the first time yesterday, and it's happening again today. These are the only time quests that give over 1000 gems, but I couldn't download them yesterday or today... What should I do? Most of my current time quests only offer 500 gems. I'm not sure how to accumulate gems anymore. I used to have thousands, even tens of thousands of gems. Maybe it's because I've exchanged a lot of gold, so the time quests don't offer many gems anymore? I have less than 10,000 gems saved up, and I probably won't be able to exchange much gold tomorrow either. I don't know what I can do today to accumulate gems.
